Description:
The pure IJ Axanthic Granite combines two recessive mutations entirely within Morelia spilota harrisoni – no subspecies crossing involved. This makes it one of the few double-recessive combinations that can be maintained as a pure subspecies line.
The visual result is a high-contrast monochromatic animal: deep charcoal-to-black clusters on a cool silver-grey base, with no residual warm tones. The Granite's dense micro-speckling combined with the Axanthic's yellow removal produces a graphically bold appearance.
As a pure IJ animal carrying two proven recessive traits, this is a premium breeding foundation – both for maintaining subspecies-pure Axanthic Granite lines and for building toward Snow Granite when paired with Albino-carrying stock.
