We make international shipping feel like a local purchase. With nearly 20 years of export experience and thousands of successful deliveries, we've built proven routes and partners for safe, fully compliant transport worldwide. You can view our available Carpet Pythons here and then use the sections below to learn more about shipping options for your country.

Shipping within Europe

We ship Carpet Pythons within Europe to all countries listed in the Shipping Costs section. Most European shipments are handled via GO! Express & Logistics (General Overnight), a specialist courier service for compliant live-animal transport.

Shipping dates are arranged individually with you. As a rule, we can ship Monday to Wednesday, provided there are no public holidays affecting the route. On shipping day, animals are collected from us at around 4:00 pm and typically arrive the next morning — usually in under 24 hours in transit.

Important exceptions: For France, we ship via France Express (ANI), a carrier authorised to transport live animals including reptiles. For Italy, delivery is possible via a trusted reptile courier with a handover at the Terraristika Hamm expo (Germany), where the animals are transferred for onward transport to Italy.

Shipping to Canada: The "Northern Lights" Route

Importing a StarPython to Canada is a routine process for us. We work exclusively with Ashley Dezan from Northern Lights Reptile Import to provide a seamless, white-glove service from Germany to your doorstep.

The 5-Step Process (As Explained in our Video)

We've simplified the international journey into a transparent, worry-free system:

  • Selection & Deposit: You choose your animal and secure it with a deposit.

  • CITES Paperwork: We apply for the CITES export permit in Germany. Once issued, we send it to Ashley Dezan. She then handles the Canadian CITES import permit. You don't have to deal with any authorities.

  • The Flight: Your python travels in a climate-controlled environment on a direct flight to Canada (usually Toronto).

  • Customs & CFIA Clearance: Ashley personally oversees the clearance at the airport, ensuring the animals are inspected by the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) and cleared through customs immediately.

  • Final Leg: After a short rest at Ashley's facility to ensure the animal is hydrated and healthy, it is shipped to you via Reptile Express.

Why Canadian Customers Choose This Route:

  • Ashley Dezan's Expertise: Your animal is handled by one of Canada's most respected importers.

  • Flat-Rate Fees: We offer clear, all-inclusive shipping quotes that cover all permits, broker fees, and the flight.

  • Live Arrival Guarantee: Because we control the entire chain with Northern Lights, we guarantee that your animal arrives safe and healthy.

"It's as easy as buying a snake in Canada—we just happen to be in Germany."

FAQ - International Shipping

Do you ship to the USA?

Yes. USA shipping is free and included in the listed price. We ship via FedEx Overnight to all 50 states. Shipping dates are scheduled based on weather and carrier conditions to ensure safe transit — if temperatures are unsuitable, we postpone and propose the next safe window rather than taking any risk.

Is the shipping cost included in the price?

For USA orders: yes — free shipping is included in the listed price. For EU destinations, shipping within Germany is 39 € and Austria is 50 € via GO! Express. For all other international destinations, shipping fees vary — you can find details on our Shipping page.

Do I receive the exact animal shown in the photos?

Yes. Each listing shows an individual animal with a unique ID. The animal you receive matches the listing ID and photos exactly. We do not use stock photos or representative images — what you see is what you get, guaranteed.

What information is included in each listing?

Each animal listing includes a unique ID, morph or subspecies designation, sex (if determined), year of birth, price in your currency, and multiple up-to-date photos. Click Details on any listing to see the full product page with additional information and larger images.

How do I reserve or request an animal?

Click Details on the listing you are interested in and use the Request button on the product page. We will confirm availability and reply with payment options and next steps by email, usually within one business day.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment options depend on your destination and are provided during confirmation of your request. In general, we accept bank transfer (SEPA for EU), credit card, Apple Pay, and PayPal. For US customers, credit card and PayPal are the most common options. Payment plans are available on a case-by-case basis.

When will my animal be shipped?

We arrange an individual shipping date with you that fits your schedule. Animal welfare always comes first — if temperatures are unsuitable or weather conditions are unfavorable, shipping is postponed and we propose the next safe window. For US shipments, we typically ship Tuesday through Thursday to avoid weekend delays.

Can you hold an animal for me?

Yes. Reservations are possible by paying a 20% deposit on the animal(s). The deposit secures the animal for an agreed period while we coordinate shipping logistics. Please see our Terms & Conditions for details, or contact us directly.

Carpet pythons (Morelia spilota) are listed under CITES Appendix II, which means international trade requires export and import permits. We handle all CITES paperwork for you. However, local regulations vary by country, state, and sometimes city — buyers are responsible for confirming that keeping carpet pythons is legal in their jurisdiction before purchasing.

What happens if there is an issue on arrival?

We provide clear receiving instructions and an arrival procedure with every shipment. If there is any problem, contact us immediately upon delivery — do not wait. We offer a 48-hour full health guarantee and handle issues on a case-by-case basis beyond that window. See our Terms & Conditions for the full policy.

I can’t find what I’m looking for — can you help?

Absolutely. Tell us your preferred subspecies or morph, sex, and budget, and we will recommend the closest matches from our current inventory or upcoming availability. We produce 800 – 1,000 hatchlings per season across 150+ genetic variants, so there is a good chance we have what you are looking for. Use our contact form to get in touch.
