Description:
The Centralian Carpet Python (Morelia bredli) is a distinct species – not a subspecies of Morelia spilota. Native to the arid ranges of central Australia, Bredli are known for their rich brick-red to deep brown coloration with contrasting cream or white banding. They are among the most visually impressive carpet pythons available.
M. bredli tend to be robust, medium-to-large bodied animals with a calm temperament. Their coloration intensifies with age – adults often develop deeper, richer tones than juveniles.
This is a wild-type animal without morph mutations. Any crossing with Morelia spilota subspecies should be clearly documented.
