Caramel Tiger het Axanthic (pure Coastal)
This Caramel Tiger het Axanthic is from a documented pure Coastal lineage (M. s. mcdowelli). Visually, it combines Caramel's warm tone reduction with Tiger's longitudinal striping – bronze-gold stripes on a softened warm ground. The Axanthic allele is carried in heterozygous form and is not visible. Het status is determined through documented parentage.
Caramel is intermediately inherited, Tiger is polygenic, and Axanthic is recessive. The pure Coastal status means all three genetic components originate from M. s. mcdowelli with no subspecies crossing in the documented lineage.
The hidden Axanthic allele opens breeding paths toward Caramel Axanthic Tiger (pure Coastal) – a subspecies-pure multi-morph combination. Tiger has no associated neurological issues and no het or Super form.
