Ghost (Super) Jaguar
The Super Ghost Jaguar combines three mutations: homozygous (Super) Hypo, recessive Axanthic, and intermediately inherited Jaguar. Super Hypo nearly eliminates melanin. Axanthic suppresses yellow. Jaguar disrupts and fragments the dorsal pattern. The result is an extremely pale animal – approaching white – with faint, fragmented pattern remnants. All three mutations originate from Coastal Carpet Pythons (M. s. mcdowelli).
Without a "pure Coastal" label, this animal has a mixed subspecies background. "Super" refers to the homozygous Hypo component; Axanthic and Jaguar cannot produce a "Super" form (Axanthic is recessive with no distinguishable homozygous phenotype; Super Jaguar is invariably lethal).
As with all Jaguar combinations, mild head wobble may be present – a neurological trait associated with the Jaguar mutation that does not affect the animal's quality of life. Ghost = Hypo + Axanthic exclusively.
