Caramel Zebra
The Caramel Zebra combines two intermediately inherited mutations: Caramel from Coastal Carpet Pythons (M. s. mcdowelli) and Zebra from Jungle Carpet Pythons (M. s. cheynei). This is a documented subspecies cross – a designer morph.
Caramel reduces dark pigmentation and shifts the palette toward warm bronze and gold. Zebra adds its characteristic irregular transverse banding. Together, the result is bold banding in earthy warm tones – tan, bronze, and gold rather than the typical black and yellow of a standard Zebra. The overall appearance is softer and more muted compared to a pure Jungle Zebra.
Both mutations are intermediately inherited: one copy of each = visual expression. Super forms of both Caramel and Zebra are possible and combinable.
