Description:
The Jungle Jaguar combines a wild-type Jungle Carpet Python (M. s. cheynei) with the intermediately inherited Jaguar from Coastal Carpet Pythons (M. s. mcdowelli). This is a documented subspecies cross – a designer morph.
Jaguar disrupts and fragments the Jungle's typically bold dark banding, producing an open, irregular pattern on a vivid yellow ground. The high natural contrast of cheynei combined with Jaguar's pattern fragmentation creates a visually bold animal – lighter overall than a standard Jungle, with dark markings reduced to scattered fragments and rosettes.
As with all Jaguar combinations, mild head wobble may be present – a neurological trait associated with the Jaguar mutation that does not affect the animal's quality of life.
