Granite dblhet Snow
This animal is a visual Granite carrying both the Albino and Axanthic alleles in heterozygous form – the two recessive components of Snow. Visually, it displays the characteristic Granite pattern fragmentation: regular banding broken into individually pigmented scale clusters. The Albino and Axanthic het status is not visible and is determined through documented parentage.
Granite originates from Irian Jaya (M. s. harrisoni), Albino from Darwin (M. s. variegata), and Axanthic from Coastal or Papuan lineage. This is a documented multi-subspecies cross carrying genetic material from at least three subspecies lines.
The breeding value is exceptional: this animal is a building block for Snow Granite (Albino + Axanthic + Granite) – a triple-recessive combination and one of the most complex achievable goals in Morelia spilota breeding.
