Snow het Granite
This animal is a visual Snow (Albino + Axanthic) carrying the Granite allele in heterozygous form. Visually, it presents as a standard Snow – nearly white with subtle pattern remnants in faint cream or lavender and pink to red eyes. The Granite het status is not visible and is determined through documented parentage.
Albino is recessive from Darwin (M. s. variegata), Axanthic is recessive, and Granite is recessive from Irian Jaya (M. s. harrisoni). This is a documented multi-subspecies cross.
The hidden Granite allele makes this animal a direct building block for Snow Granite production. Paired with another Snow het Granite, statistically 25% of offspring will be visual Snow Granites – the triple-recessive combination. This significantly shortens the generational path compared to starting from triple-het animals.
