Hypo Jaguar (pure Coastal)
This Hypo Jaguar is from a documented pure Coastal lineage (M. s. mcdowelli). Both Hypo and Jaguar originate from Coastal Carpet Pythons – this is a subspecies-pure double-intermediary combination.
Hypo reduces melanin, intensifying the golden ground color. Jaguar disrupts and fragments the pattern. Together: a luminous golden animal with scattered dark fragments. The pure Coastal status means no subspecies crossing has occurred in this animal's documented lineage.
As with all Jaguar combinations, mild head wobble may be present – a neurological trait associated with the Jaguar mutation that does not affect the animal's quality of life.
