Hypo Caramel (pure Coastal)
This Hypo Caramel is from a documented pure Coastal lineage (M. s. mcdowelli). Both Hypo and Caramel originate from Coastal Carpet Pythons, and this animal's documented lineage confirms no subspecies crossing has occurred.
The combination of two independent melanin-reducing mutations produces an extremely light, warm-toned animal. Hypo reduces melanin production, Caramel reduces it through a separate pathway – the double effect results in minimal dark pigmentation with warm gold and bronze dominating. Both are intermediately inherited.
Hypo Caramel is not a Sunglow (Sunglow = Hypo + Albino exclusively). This subspecies-pure Hypo Caramel is the foundation for advanced pure Coastal combination projects.
