Description:
The Caramel Axanthic Jaguar combines three genes from two subspecies: the incomplete-dominant Caramel (Coastal, M. s. mcdowelli), the recessive Axanthic (Papuan, M. s. harrisoni) and the incomplete-dominant Jaguar (Coastal).
The result is an elegant interplay of warm gold and cool silver, producing a softly metallic appearance with gentle contrasts.
At StarPythons, Caramel Axanthic Jaguars are bred to harmonize color intensity and pattern reduction.
⚠️ Naming note:
Caramel Axanthic Jaguars are often incorrectly referred to as Ghost Jaguars.
Only Hypo + Axanthic combinations produce true Ghosts – Caramel is an independent mutation unrelated to Hypo.
