Description:
The Granite is a recessive mutation characterized by the fine breaking up of the typical carpet python pattern.
Instead of clearly defined saddles and bands, the snake displays an irregular, granular structure reminiscent of natural granite.
This mutation creates a uniform and visually dense overall appearance.
In breeding, the Granite serves as a versatile foundation for structured, evenly patterned lines.
It pairs well with Hypo, Caramel, or Axanthic to produce soft, low-contrast animals, or with Albino to create bright designer combinations.
At StarPythons, this line is selectively bred for fine pattern resolution, even color distribution, and genetic stability to preserve the classic Granite look.
