Ghost Zebra Jaguar
The Ghost Zebra Jaguar is a four-mutation combination: the intermediately inherited Hypo, Zebra, and Jaguar, plus the recessive Axanthic. Hypo reduces melanin. Axanthic suppresses yellow. Zebra adds transverse banding. Jaguar disrupts and fragments the pattern. Together, they produce an extremely pale, desaturated animal with fragmented banding remnants in cool silver-grey – highly variable between individuals.
Hypo, Axanthic, and Jaguar originate from Coastal (M. s. mcdowelli), Zebra from Jungle (M. s. cheynei). This is a documented multi-subspecies designer morph.
As with all Jaguar combinations, mild head wobble may be present – a neurological trait associated with the Jaguar mutation that does not affect the animal's quality of life. Ghost = Hypo + Axanthic exclusively.
