Albino Jaguar
The Albino Jaguar combines the recessive Albino mutation with the intermediately inherited Jaguar. The Albino removes all dark pigment while the Jaguar disrupts and fragments the dorsal pattern – resulting in a bright yellow-to-orange animal with reduced, softened pattern remnants on a clean white-cream base.
The Albino originated in Darwin Carpet Pythons (M. s. variegata) and the Jaguar exclusively in Coastals (M. s. mcdowelli), making this a documented subspecies cross. As with all Albinos without a "pure Darwin" label, this animal has a mixed subspecies background.
As with all Jaguar combinations, mild head wobble may be present – a neurological trait associated with the Jaguar mutation that does not affect the animal's quality of life.
