Sunglow Granite het Axanthic
The Sunglow Granite het Axanthic unites the Sunglow – the combination of incomplete dominant Hypo and recessive Albino – with the recessive Granite mutation and an additional heterozygous allele for Axanthic. Visually it shows the warm, golden-creamy tones of the Sunglow enriched by the fine, broken pattern structure of the Granite, while the Axanthic gene remains hidden. The result is a bright, evenly structured animal with a calm, harmonious appearance. In breeding it is a valuable foundation for bright Granite lines: paired with a visual or het Axanthic it produces Granite Axanthic combinations, and its Hypo-Albino base leads toward Moonglow and Fullmoon projects. StarPythons explicitly notes that true Sunglows result only from the combination of Hypo and Albino; Caramel-based lines are genetically distinct and are not Sunglows.
