Caramel Axanthic
The Caramel Axanthic combines the intermediately inherited Caramel with the recessive Axanthic mutation. The Caramel reduces dark melanin while the Axanthic removes yellow pigmentation – resulting in a cool, desaturated animal with muted caramel tones and no residual yellow warmth.
Important: Caramel Axanthic is not Ghost. Ghost is exclusively Hypo + Axanthic – a different genetic combination despite some visual similarity. Caramel and Hypo reduce melanin through different mechanisms and different loci.
This animal has a mixed subspecies background. Both Caramel and Axanthic can originate in Coastal lines, but this category does not carry a "pure Coastal" qualifier.
