Hypo Caramel Zebra Jaguar het Axanthic
This is a five-gene animal: Hypo, Caramel, Zebra, and Jaguar are all visually expressed, plus the Axanthic allele is carried in heterozygous form. Het status is not visible and is determined through documented parentage.
Hypo, Caramel, and Jaguar originate from Coastal (M. s. mcdowelli), Zebra from Jungle (M. s. cheynei) – a documented multi-subspecies designer morph. All four visible mutations are intermediately inherited. The double melanin reduction (Hypo + Caramel) combined with Zebra banding and Jaguar pattern fragmentation produces an extremely light animal with soft, fragmented banding remnants in warm pastel tones.
As with all Jaguar combinations, mild head wobble may be present – a neurological trait associated with the Jaguar mutation that does not affect the animal's quality of life.
