Axanthic het Albino
This Axanthic het Albino is visually identical to a standard Axanthic – the characteristic silver-grey to charcoal palette with reduced yellow pigmentation. In addition, this animal carries the Albino allele in heterozygous form. Het status is not visible and is determined through documented parentage.
The hidden Albino allele is the key to producing Snow (Albino + Axanthic). Paired with another Albino-carrying Axanthic, statistically 25% of offspring will be visual Snow animals – the double-recessive near-white combination.
This animal has a mixed subspecies background.
