Albino het Axanthic
This Albino het Axanthic is visually identical to a standard Albino – the full amelanistic phenotype with vivid yellow, orange, and cream tones. In addition, this animal carries the Axanthic allele in heterozygous form. Het status is not visible and is determined through documented parentage.
The hidden Axanthic allele is the key to producing Snow (Albino + Axanthic) – one of the most sought-after double-recessive combinations in the Morelia spilota complex. Paired with another Albino het Axanthic, statistically 25% of offspring will be visual Snow animals.
As with all Albinos without a "pure Darwin" label, this animal has a mixed subspecies background.
